Just to menthion that on our server, the lock diamond won't show. Just right click the target several at least to make sure it's locked (the second click DO NOT cancel the lock as some may think). If the target was not reported yet by you or one of your teammates, reporting it while right click means that it is locked.

Diamond will not show in vet-mode but still visible in noob-mode
