19th June 2009is a important date according to [b]roumors and [b]publishers

I can't wait  :o even if I told sometimes that I wait till all say it's good. I will get it as soon as possible :-)

but as with every release I think we have to wait a long time for the linux server :-(

I think I need to get this one ASAP or else I will end up like with ArmA, never got it cause ppl say it's not finished yet

And pray for regular updates and patches or even better, hope it's finished "out of the box"

I set a preorder on amazon. So I will get it as soon as possible :-) They normally deliver at the release date.

Will it be any differences in the game from the various publishers/ distributors?

I think not. They only use different publishers to have the best distribution in every country. And I think it's much better then having only one who dictates some things. (like codemasters). So if one don't want to do something, another is there who is doing it.

They all will have the same source. Maybe only copy protection is different?

I wonder if "disc-version" will be available at the same time as the download one.

Don't get me started about the lack of improvements in the mission editor. But well, I'm not too bothered by it now as I won't play Arma2 soon.
