Here's one funny incident that happened to me in Arma2 singleplayer while ago:
I was taking off with the big C-130 cargo plane, and there was another aircraft (V-22 Osprey) parked in the opposite end of the runway. I pushed the throttles max, started accelerating, hoping that I get enough speed and lift off before crashing into that Osprey.
I didn't quite make it, check this screenshot:

My C-130 just went to a halt suddenly, and left hanging there. It didn't take any damage.
I wasn't injured either, not even when I jumped out of the plane.
