1.60 (official). The Folk server does not use beta patches.
Fer, can we expect more BMP's with music?  8)

Sadly, no. We were forced to sell the BMP-2 and use the money to buy multiple vehicles for transporting all you lovely comrades! However, you can always broadcast over TeamSpeak Wink
Ultimately the soundtrack is whats important here.

OP updated with this reminder:

Quote:Reminder: If you don't already know how to configure and use TeamSpeak 3's Channel Commander feature, please re/re-read the Getting started with TeamSpeak 3 (for ArmA2) thread before the event, even if you do not plan on taking a leadership role. Thank you.
Fighting for socialist agrarian utopia seem like a worthy cause. Hang on comrades, I will be there!

I'll try to make it as well.

Will add this to Fer's OP.

You just can refer to the server time aswell. It shows the same time everywhere (CET), independent from Timezones. So in this case the game starts 20.00 CST (Cia Server Time) :-).
Posting to say a HUGE thank you to everyone from CiA who participated in tonight's joint session with Folk/ARPS and LDDK (and special thanks to comrade Variable for being the point-man from CiA). It was a real pleasure having all of you in the session. I really hope you enjoyed yourselves too, and that we'll get the chance to fight alongside each other again soon. Lastly, if you have any words, pictures or video to share, please cross-post to the official AAR thread on the Folk forum: http://www.ferstaberinde.com/folk/forum/...f=10&t=396
Thanx to our wise leaders which have led our glorious army to such an important victory, local guerrilla was ultimately convinced to accept ways of agrarian socialism and Zagrabad area has entered a new era of economic prosperity.

Another great evening, one of the best so far that I have attended. It is a big success to have such a large group of players (how many were we, 60? 70?) and yet maintain efficiency and a good pace. And my squad and others moving with us were busy almost all of the time, seeing lots of action. We were almost too good, beating the mission in less than an hour, minus the planning.

I'm sorry I couldn't attend last night, internet was down last night so I couldn't even post that I was not going to join!

Cross posting from the folk forums:

[quote="rundll [CiA]"]HI there,

Just wanted to say I enjoyed every minute of last nights joint ops. Thx for organising and hosting it. For a 64 player game it was incredibly smooth (thx 1.60!) and organised.
Confusing is the word that described the start of the mission for me. I had to join the JIP group, since I was patiently waiting for a team to be assigned to, but they were full quite fast. We started at the airport, with a bunch of guys who didn't know where to go. However this was quickly solved by joining the 2nd platoon convoy, just passing us to the south. Without a clear leader, we took individual commands from command, which worked out just fine.
When the big battle was going, we attacked the small outpost at the fuel station, and successfully cleared it, with help of a fearless BTR at our side. I managed to miss two technicals with RPG twice, but small arms dealt with them.
From thereon we joined the rest of 2nd and you know how it went from there. Again I missed 2 rpg rockets at the moving armor threat, but luckyly I wasnt the only one that re-stocked on rpgs  Big Grin

Lastly I want to share one of the most awesome views I had in Arma ever:

Shot from the CO overview pos, I could see the complete 2nd platoon (~23 of them) moving to the objective. Too bad the VD was just too low to see 1st, but they popped up sometimes.  The inf movement looked so damn smooth and organised!

More shots will appear on the CiA site when I figure out how to do that
