This would be a reason not to have it in PvP - the lack of a tag is itself a tag.
I noticed a small bug, mostly affecting adversarials:

Units that share a side by default but are grouped with units of opposing sides still see hovering name tags.

Example: A group of civilian cops is grouped with a Blufor unit, a group of civilian rockers grouped with Opfor. Though the game treats them as opposing forces, the addon still shows tags as if they were allied.

On the other hand this is rather useful in coops) if you need specialists for a faction that don't have those by default; e.g. grouping CDF engineers (Blufor) to UN Groups (Ind).

I can demonstrate this to you in a mission on the ARPS box if you want.
Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I have  a question and this is the proper place I think.

I use mk4_hud in SP too. My issue is that sometimes when I load a savegame, the addon won't start. But if I play for a while, it appears. Does this happen to other people too? And if yes, is there a solution?

That might be a general problem with XEH/CBA, I think the startup event handlers don't reliably fire at the beginning of a mission.
Thanks Alwarren. Well, that isn't good news.

Actually, it does.

I have the same problem with my console, mainly because it waits for the appropiate game display to be available (via findDisplay).

The code runs, but the display isn't available, and as such, anything that needs to findDisplay the main 3d view fails
Sry for old again!

But this is invaluble for me-not the sharpest at following ppl etc (drink problem Wink lol)
So comes in very handy!
