About Teamspeak in vehicles- use windows mixer to lower Arma 2 's volume and increase Teamspeak. I set it up once and from then on I have no communications problems whatsoever. Invest 2 minutes in finding the golden point and there shall peace upon us all.

I know its old but i think if you want to keep the reality thing to game you should not lover or do anything to loud noises when shooting mg or some other weapon. I like loud noises when i`m playing arma Smile
I agree with you Cheez, what's the point playing a sim game when you don't have some real world effects for imerssion.

Why for example we don't play with low video setting in order to better see the enemies? Same logic, still flawed.

In the real-world vehicle you would be wearing headphones that dampen the engine sound and amplify the voice comms.

I am all for realism, but that has to end somewhere because after all we're playing a game. We're not using the "I have to pee" addon either. Also, we're running most of the time which you wouldn't do in reality either.
In short, soldiers in vehicles can communicate. We need to be able to communicate too.
I would like to counter the arguments, but I will keep this short.
Nobody is going to order me how would I like to experience this game.  Name your price, please.
