Comrades in Arms Discussion Board

Hola,
im thinking about buying a new headset, my current one is a 15€ one, but its not top notch (surprissingly... ;-) ).
i have my rejections against wireless technique, i dont need/like cordless keyboards and mice, but on the other side, with the headset it would be nice to have a more free radius.
Can anyone provide feedback in use of wireless headphones? Are you satisfied with audio quality? Battery power long enough? Is it worth to go for 7.1 sound technique (ok, this one is not wireless specific, but i wonder nevertheless)?

I'm not sure about your budget, but I strongly recommend against any wireless headset unless it's really high-end. I used two Logitech headsets that had good reviews and they both had bad performance (distortions and general loss of connection) and poor sound and mic quality, and I'm not picky about sound quality much. They both were very uncomfortable, too.

hm, thats what i feared. I will look then for something with a long strip then ;-)...
