http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/operat...iver-steam (24.02.2014) good deal for a (supposedly) good single player campaign. You get a STEAM key to activate and download the game. The multiplayer/Co-op mode is not working anymore(I think, about dragon rising i'm sure)  if you try the official way, within the menu ; the servers were removed(blame Games For Windows Life client).
You can play multiplayer/Co-op with the Lan option, if you use a program that simulates Lan over internet, like Hamachi, Tungle (or others, can't remember right now)

(This game is actually the second in the new series, the first one being Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising)
I'd get Dragon Rising on steam if it were on sale. Would love to play the campaign again.

We played both Dragon Rising and Red River campaigns Coop... was quite fun, even though it doesn'T compare to Arma.

Both Dragon Rising and Red River had pretty decent campaigns for Coop. If you're ever looking for coop partners, feel free to poke me.
Once I bought Dirt on sale just to able to race online only to realize that Codemaster drop multiplayer support very quickly. Ok, three years is maybe ok for what you would expect from money milking company like Codemasters, just needed to buy Dirt 2 instead.

Codemasters likes to drop the support for their games very quickly... The studio that made Operation Flashpoint Red River was actually dissolved a few weeks after the first and last DLC came out.
speaking of Dirt, Dirt 3 is dirt cheap for today 83%off (26/02/2014) http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-DRT3/dirt-3 . Again with Steam serial code. It unfortunately uses also microsoft's GamesForWindows Client for multiplayer.

Lots more on the main page ,"the red carpet sale" deals http://www.gamersgate.com/.

Look for the "Steamworks" DRM if you want a game with STEAM activation.

Deus Ex series with Deus Ex: Human Revolution Directors Cut(latest in the series) are one of my favorite RPGs (fps+rpg elements actually). Games with exploring, stealth, story+dialog(spoken), decision making...

I liked Deus Ex (the first one) best. One of the few games you can play through without ever pulling a weapon on someone, and even at my third play-through I found things I hadn't noticed before.

Great, great game. Only the graphics are pretty dated by today's standards.
If you don't have it yet, Origin is giving away free copies of Dead Space. Not the greatest game ever IMO, but YMMV.
