I forced an 8 pin connector atx into a 8pin pci-e gpu slot and tried to power on a few times.
Yes, i am stupid did i destroy my GPU?

Thank god man, that relieves so much stress. My new GPU came by mail delivery and i put in the 8 pin meant for connecting to mobo not a 8 pin PCIe for GPUs, since they look so alike. I did a physical inspection under a lense and couldnt find any burn damage or discolouration on the circuits so thats a good sign.
I dont have the necessary adapters to power the gpu, so i cant check if its working and i only have time on friday to go and buy the molex adaptor. I hope everything will be fine.
