I see, I have that issue too...would be good to somehow have two versions of Arma3 (and two steam accounts) so you can test.


I have to get a friend to join while we both teleport around the map testing things
ALIAS, I really understand custom eyecandy and SFX can be integral part of mission. I have too killed FPS with fire/smoke and in the end, smooth performance > eyecandy.

I am sure you knew this, but just in case (don't get me wrong, I'm not patronizing), example here.

In first example, in upper part of screen you notice eG (effect global). That means basically that the effect multiplies by every player in scenario. Some effect may past test with flying colours if you test it with yourself, or couple of others, but when 14 players are in, its effects are dramatically different. For example if you create particles with this instead of createvehiclelocal..well..you get the point. What ever killed the server was heavy stuff as it kicked in almost at the mission start.

I checked, and current (last update) version has the problematic effects created locally and i also have a check for dedicated which will make the script skip the server. So if that was the problem should be solved.


However, i've uploaded a version without the special effects. OP edited with a separate link for that.
