Hey, first post, but as I noted in the BIS forums, im making a new mission, currently called FOB Richard. Its currently in need of beta testing, as I havent had a chance to play through yet, but all the parts work on their own in single player. Ive used no scripts which could hinder MP, just DAC atm.

The mission involes 4 fireteams of 3 men (due to size constraint of Jeeps) who have just moved into FOB Richard, and have to defend it. How they defend it is upto them.

There is no Cutscenes as of yet, as I am unsure as to what to add, and if anybody can think of any other hooks to add id love the suggestions.

Not played it yet, but if u want to make MP u generally NOT use cutscenes, they take too much time, they distract players ingame and it's annoying, so forget them Wink
As for jeeps, is it BIS jeeps or hummys? Hummys are bugged as h##l, creates ammo-bug if overloaded Sad
Will give u a proper report when I actually have PLAYED it Wink

They are just Jeeps with MGs as they were the closest I could get to either Hummers with 50 cals or the land rover equivalent.

Ill just skip the cutscene then.

Sorry for the double post, but here is the newest and best version, massively imnproved, with an attempt to get mapfact respawn working, and also a transportable ammobox, a heavy weapons team and a better selection of weapons.

EDIT: Another version, I have added an A10 and laser designator after the fun you guys seemed to have with it yesterday, and also a Javlin Launcher, Tactevents meaning you bleed and stuff, and also some other surprises.

Im going to move onto another mission, something massively bigger in scale, until we get to test this one out, expect it to be ready for a beta in 24 hours or less, i have a lot of spare time on my hands atm.

Ah, dammit Mjolnir. You are six6six in the BI forum?? I thought I was the only one with a different name in the official forums  Big Grin

Hi Mjolnir, a couple of comments on your mission:

a)
The correct name on the mission seems to be FOB_Richard_DAC[b]_2.fdf_al_maldajah.pbo[/b] not FOB_Richard_DAC.2.FDF_al_h.pbo. Use underscore instead of dot before 2 and put the whole island-name in it too.
I had to do that before I was even able to see it in my missions.

b)
It seems like you load MFCTI116 when you edit. Please don't do that since it's not mandatory on the server (it is listed both under addOns- and addOnsAuto-section in mission.sqm). I also got that missing MFCTI116 error message and was unable to load mission..
As a rule you should only load the addons you intend to use in the particular mission. It is to secure you don't get any reference to other addons in the mission-sqm even if you don't use them.

c)
What tool do you use to pack the mission? I'm unable to unpack the mission to correct it...
