non loading missions on trinity list - gum - 10-30-2008

ok folks, i have sorted out the non loading missions on trinity island that should be removed from the server:

I will check why missions won't load and fix them if possible. Most of them are from VS or LOL, my guess it's used (intentionally or not) addons we don't use. Quite often they are not used at all in the mission, they just get in the auto-addon section in the mission if mission-maker have certain addons loaded while editing.

Checked all files, here are the result in short:
A couple of the missions is corrupt (or encrypted), can't open them.
The rest require addons we don't have, 3 different versions of T72, T90, Buggys just to mention a few.

So what do we do? I was thinking of edit them but as I saw all addons used it will be difficult (if not impossible) to maintain the idea/ gameplay from the original missionmaker.
Sure we could install qall the missing addons but why? They must also be compatible with FDF, any guarantee?
I vote for complete deletion of them Sad (sorry)

Use a tool like Amalfi's PBO decryptor to unpack missions with forked mission.sqm.

If the mission is very good, it might be wise to replace the addons with normal units (jeep mg's instead of buggies, for example).
