Looking for good tutorials + question - Dogmeat - 06-11-2009
Long, long time ago I was doing some missions in editor (nothing that I would like to share thought). I remember some stuff but I forgot a lot also.
If anyone could provide some good tutorials so I could read them and remind myself. I was already searching over google but some good sites are down and I can't find few tutorials that I was reading earlier and they were good. I found some tutorials but they don't really cover some of my issues.
One of my problems is to make units appear when trigger occurs, those units can't teleport from one part of map to other (which would be quite easy solution I guess). Other way to solve my problem is to make gamelogic activate only when trigger is ticked (if that's even possible).

I found very good basic editing guide long time ago but the sites are down nowdays, i guess thats the site dogmeat means.
I posted same kind of topic also to another forums and someone told me that there is really good guide in OFP manual. I have no idea where to find it. If i will find it, i will tell ya

I think Make is talking about the Prima's Strategy Guide, included in OFP: Gold Edition (red hammer) as a printed book. I learned the basics to mission editing from that, and I agree that it is excellent for mission making noobs. I have it scanned somewhere if you are interested.

It just goes in the mission folder. Hold shift and preview button to view it in the editor...
