Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Marto - 12-24-2009 Hawke has been kind enough to prepare this mission for us: [WGL] Linoleum Time: 0730 Terrain: Desert with mountains up to 150m. Weather: Clear. Map: Frago (fragmentary orders) from Company Commander We know that enemy is trading gasoline for U.S. weapons and using choppers for the job. You must stop them while you can, destroy all fuelstations and fueltrucks. BE AWARE, there are lots of hostile soldiers in the area. You may find some enemy sniper resistance. When all objectives completed use the boats to get home. Insertion: see SW corner of map. Objectives (see map): 1. Destroy fuelstation one and two. 2. Get the enemy plans. 3. Destroy all fueltrucks. 4. Find and destroy the chopper. Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Marto - 12-24-2009 Roster US troops Platoon HQ - Alpha Black 1. I say we start this one again at 2100 CET as another trial, then have another poll between only 2000 and 2100 CET. Carl Gustav and Javelin operators check here for your weapon operation: http://www.ciahome.net/forum/index.php?topic=1645.msg7302#msg7302 Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Marto - 12-24-2009 The Plan FUP. The platoon form a line formation on the beach wite Scout team and HQ Team trailing behind (se below) Team Charlie, Team Alpha, Team Delta        HQ TEAm  Scout Team 1. And advance on the 1st Target(that is pretty close bay so watch out) We try to supprise the enemy and establish a fire supperiority. 2. When advancing on the 2nd Target Team Delta and Scout Team moves to hill 45. And gives overwatch. Team Alpha and Charlie moves in from the south. 3. The platoon moves up on hill 114 and get a god view of the taret and surounding areas. Scouts move to a pos slightly more west on hill 114 than the rest. 4. On the 4th Target the platon once more form a line and moves on the target. Wite Scouts providing over watch from hill 90(as long as possibel) The maine force move to hill 47.(then the Scout team moves to hill 47) 5. Then the platoon moves out to hill 59 and make sure no hostiles is at the evac site (boats) ROE All that is armed is to be considerd as enemys. Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Zwobot - 12-24-2009 Mh, I probably won't participate in this one. There's a remote chance I will join but don't count on it, I would take any slot left except a leadership role (because I don't have a mic here). Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Mjolnir - 12-24-2009 Dammit, I cant play this one cos Im going airsofting that night. Dammit. Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - RKDmitriyev - 12-24-2009 Alpha Green--Team Leader, please. Now I should probably map a key to speak on Channel Commander.  EDIT: I've got left shift mapped to "whisper to all channel commanders." Does that sound like the right function? Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Zwobot - 12-24-2009 Yes that's correct RKDmitriyev. Also make sure to set a key for becoming channel commander (I believe you can map a key for this - I have never done so myself because I can always alt-tab safely out of game and back in). Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - RKDmitriyev - 12-24-2009 Rgr, I already did that. I thought you could speak to all channel commanders once you switched, but apparently you need another push-to-talk button as well. Found this out yesterday. Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - slash [fin] - 12-24-2009 Medium Direct Fire Support Team Charlie - Alpha Yellow 1. Team leader (M4/M203) - Team leader Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Viking - 12-24-2009 well if I can be here I will take alpha blue #4 slot (rifleman) Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Anguis - 12-24-2009 @Kurtz: Just make sure you've got another key assigned to "Turbo" so you can lean in WGL. Left Shift was default for that, for me. F1 is my whisper to Channel Commander key. Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Zwobot - 12-25-2009 But won't the F1 key bring up the Ofp command menu in the top right corner of the screen Anguis? I've never used leaning/rolling in our WGL sessions, my shortcuts may be a bit cluttered but I can't say I'm missing the lean/roll feature.. Rolling is what saves your life when you are under fire out in the open... And clearing buildings without the lean feature is like swimming the English Channel in a straight jacket.... Re: Briefing/Roster for Sunday 27 Dec 09 - Overlord - 12-26-2009 Can't be there, I'm on "leave" And why TF edit a perfectly good mission??? Is anyone afraid of faliure?? Whay not remove all enemies?? Either stop messing up missions or put an end to this stupid games where you need to alter every mission just to waste a couple of hours just in briefing. As I've clearly staded before, OFP ain't built for these kind of gameplay and it only satisfye a few players. So please use Thuesdays for this games or forget'em. > |
