Briefing/Roster for next Sunday 23 May 10 - Marto - 05-18-2010 Mission will be played 2100 CET next Sunday 23 May 10 Choose your slots and discuss any plan you believe will work below. Double Draw Overview A Falafel Islamic Army (FIA) section occupies a dug in position on hill 41 overlooking the road. They also occupy an OP at these old castle ruins. We are going to assault their position, clear hill 41 and destroy the OP. Objectives 1. Clear hill 41. 2. Destroy the enemy OP. 3. Destroy any enemy armoured reinforcements. Location: Anilym Time: 0930 Terrain: Forested areas, steep terrain, flat open areas near the coast. Weather: Clear. Map: Orders from Company Commander SITUATION: Enemy: Experienced FIA insurgents well dug in. FIA has ex-Soviet armour including T-80B MBTs and BMP IFVs. Friendly: ITOW anti-armour and 60mm mortar teams attached. MISSION: You are to clear hill 41, destroy the OP and any armoured reinforcements. EXECUTION: Infantry platoon and anti-armour team starting positions marked on the map. Good locations for the anti-armour team are marked on the map, the coast can be used to move undetected. Assault and clear hill 41, destroy the OP and any armoured reinforcements coming from the west. ADMIN AND LOG: Anti-armour team has a Humvee ITOW carrier (8 missiles) and 84mm Carl Gustav with extra HEAT and HEDP rounds in the jeep. 8x 60mm HE mortar rounds. Med plan: Your squad carries field dressings and has an organic medic. COMMAND AND SIGS: Signals: All team members are to communicate via Teamspeak.
