But isn't it better to wait for next generation, may be close? From 270⬠and up @rundll maybe is better to buy 4GB version because your resolution and game we all love to play ;D Re: New Arma-3 ready PC - Rund - 11-24-2013 Hmm that extra â¬50 isn't really worth it I guess... Does the resolution really require more RAM? I thought textures etc were stored there, not the output ? Re: New Arma-3 ready PC - Horus - 11-25-2013 Depends..if you want to use 4x or 8x AA in game on your res I will go with 4GB version Re: New Arma-3 ready PC - Misha - 11-25-2013 (11-24-2013, 11:04 PM)Horus link Wrote: From 270⬠and up Only MSI for now. Tempting, but with 660ti I may be good till 8xx comes out. Re: New Arma-3 ready PC - Rund - 11-25-2013 One more thing, would the difference between a i7 3770K and i7 4770K be worth the 20⬠price difference? Gaming benchmarks don't really show a difference, but the 4770K should be a bit faster at the same clockspeeds? Re: New Arma-3 ready PC - Misha - 11-25-2013 I heard that Haswell series tends to run a little hot when overclocking compared to Ivy bridge, but I guess it's just small difference and could be treated with non-stock cooler. I would always go for newer parts if only because it makes warranty issues easier, 20 eur is really small price difference compared to full price of both CPU's. The second one actually sent me a human reply, apologising and suggesting BPS-750C2.
