Damn, missed those.

In any case, do those steam modules work with the non-steam DCS version ?

Edit: I just saw that I already did buy some modules off steam, so I assume it works ?

Re: Bundles and deals - doveman - 06-16-2015

Yeah, they just won't work in Steam if bought from ED but bought from Steam work in both versions.

Re: Bundles and deals - Misha - 06-16-2015

I had so much fun playing F-86 lately that I'm thinkinf on buying MiG-15. Obviously these older planes have much less systems to manage and provide some good old dogfighting experience, more of pure flying but still at sim level.

Who's up for some F86 vs MiG-15 action? I would like to host again.

Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star 85% off http://store.steampowered.com/app/275290

This seems like a highly regarded wargame from the reviews I've read, which say it's much better than the Men of War series. It doesn't have the micromanagement of MoW (which I personally find a bit much to cope with, so that's good for me) and doesn't have any MP but by all accounts the AI is so amazing that you don't really need MP to have a challenging game.

DLC (all 8 of them) are on sale too, with Operation Hopper and Shield of the Prophet being the most interesting to me, being set in the 70's-80's, so a change from the WW2 action of the base game.

Wish I could Misha. I bought the F86 a while ago but haven't had time to even try it yet. I need to get this F16 stick I bought working as well. I've got the buttons working but I still need to work out how to replace the faulty pots with hall sensors for the axes as it's not much use without them! Then I need to get my headtracker sorted, I've built an Edtracker which will hopefully do the job (still need to cut the box before I can mount it) whilst clever people try and improve the software for the Pro Micro/GY-85/HC-05 thing I was using, as that doesn't work reliably enough yet (at least wirelessly, I haven't tried it with the USB cable yet).

I bet this game is great, but the interface takes ages to learn, I gave up on it...

Hmm, if it was too complicated for you then I expect it will be way over my head! I should try the demo I guess, I can always buy it whilst it's on sale and get a refund if I don't like it after trying the demo.

Big sale of stealth games on Steam. It's not front-paged because, you know... stealth

Re: Bundles and deals - doveman - 10-16-2015

Dammit! I was only gonna buy Death to Spies (Gold) for £1.99 but ended up adding Assassin's Creed I, II, Brotherhood and Revelations as well for a total of £16.

I've played them all but some were on my Xbox360 and I was amazed by the stories and setting, so I wanted to have PC/Steam versions of them in case I decide to play them again. I decided it was worth paying a few quid for each of them, even if I just free-roam and admire the scenery once in a while Smile
