Come to think of it, I should probably name "Brothers - A tale of two sons" for the #1 slot... still, good 2nd place.

A story about an orphan girl? This will be too hard on me...

Hehe. It's a good game, you won't regret it.

Well, it's a game about The Walking Dead, so in essence, it's about pain, misery and death with a lot of protagonist murder. "Cheerful" as hell, with the potential to get you down if you're feeling too well, hehe

Now that I finished it, I must say that unlike Alwarren, I'm disappointed by the ending, it was just too constructed in my opinion.

I played through the first game and left it due to not having enough time. I have more games than I can afford time wise...

Tell me about it. I've got some games I've never played that I picked up during sales or in bundles, and just lack the time to play

Yeah, and if you consider all games played less than one hour or never, we get to 54 % O.o

And all the Arma games for me are in the 1 % of games that are played more than 500 hours

Arma is not a game. Arma is a hobby. Like a model railroad, you do not only play Arma but spend time with other activities around it that aren't necessarily gaming, like mission creation, addon creation, server maintenance.

There isn't a lot of games like that (generally speaking, i.e. games that are more of a hobby than anything else)

Re: Bundles and deals - Alwarren - 09-03-2014

Currently on sale for 20 Euros: Wargame franchise pack. All three titles (European Escalation, AirLand Battle and Red Dragon) for one cent more than Red Dragon would cost.

If you missed out on these games and are into strategy games, go get them. Personally, I am not too interested in strategy games and I still liked them for their unique mechanics.

Re: Bundles and deals - Alwarren - 09-05-2014

On sale over the weekend: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising and Operation Flashpoint: Red River. In spite of what people say about these games, I actually found them pretty enjoyable. They're not Arma for sure, but they are certainly entertaining.

So if you can get over the fact that the name "Operation Flashpoint" is being heavily abused here, you can cheaply get two games that have quite good campaigns, decent gameplay, and nice graphics.

Re: Bundles and deals - Variable - 09-05-2014

I second Alwarren's recommendation.

Re: Bundles and deals - Varanon - 09-05-2014

Indeed, they were good games if you don't approach them with the "This is Operation Flashpoint" kind of thinking

Re: Bundles and deals - alias - 09-05-2014

I've played Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising 4-5 years ago i think, i enjoyed it. Is not a game i'd play again tho with ARMA around.
