Fix for the new unusable black compass? - McGregor - 07-04-2014
Does anyone know of a mod to fix BIS new murdered out, and for me totally unusable compass? I can't read the bearings at all

As the topic states we are looking for a fix to the new black compass. The berings are unreadable. It might be a mod that causes it but it seems like it's the latest update

Iceman confirmed it's broken and will be fixed in next stable branch:

When you have a GPS, it unrealistiacally shows your heading, we can use that in the mean time, it's much more accurate anyway...

I tested this mod and it works very well. It brings over the compass from Arma 2

Yep, AFTP Compass Fix was working fine for me last night http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24411
I plan to replace the existing compass mod with that in PwS when we update our mods list.
