GPU recommendation - Outlawz7 - 06-14-2015 R7250X-2GD5 According to tomshardware, best budget card atm. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-2.html -------------------------------------------------- R9270X-DC2T-2GD5 What-I-spend-on-CPUs budget level Thoughts? Re: GPU recommendation - Alwarren - 06-14-2015 Memory of 1 GB might be a bit low for today, so I would try to go for 2 gigs. Other than that, I was always happy with AMD cards, only reason I switched to NVidia was CUDA so I can use Blender on the GPU. Other than that, the benchmarks look quite favorable. It beats my 660 Ti in some of them. Re: GPU recommendation - Outlawz7 - 06-14-2015 (06-14-2015, 07:43 PM)Alwarren link Wrote: Memory of 1 GB might be a bit low for today Huh, they're both 2? Anyway, how would either run ArmA3? Re: GPU recommendation - Outlawz7 - 06-15-2015 Went with R7250X-2GD5. At least if this one turns into a brick, it won't be an expensive one. Re: GPU recommendation - Outlawz7 - 07-22-2015 I cancelled the R7 weeks ago and today I found GTX750-PHOC-2GD5 on sale for almost the same price as R7, so I ordered that one. I Googled it for issues and it mainly returned results for 750 Ti. If the same thing happens again, I'll stick to claiming warranty. |
