Memory of 1 GB might be a bit low for today, so I would try to go for 2 gigs. Other than that, I was always happy with AMD cards, only reason I switched to NVidia was CUDA so I can use Blender on the GPU.

Other than that, the benchmarks look quite favorable. It beats my 660 Ti in some of them.

Went with R7250X-2GD5. At least if this one turns into a brick, it won't be an expensive one.

I cancelled the R7 weeks ago and today I found GTX750-PHOC-2GD5 on sale for almost the same price as R7, so I ordered that one. I Googled it for issues and it mainly returned results for 750 Ti. If the same thing happens again, I'll stick to claiming warranty.
