Voodoo, Witchcraft, and TFAR Radio - Stagwine - 11-16-2015

In our last coop nights I have experienced more or less radio issues.  As a relative newcomer to CiA scene, biggest culture shock for was TFAR radio, and our configuration. I like it, but it took a bit to chew. Transmit on local, short ranger, long range was fine, but last night after 3 months of playing with CiA I finally realized wtf is alternate channel. Zen lightbulb.    :o

Would something like "CiA TFAR SOP (for Monumental Morons like Stag)" sticky on top help? We have already infantry, medical, etc stickys and communication is equally important, if not even more critical.  Sure, we have some threads on the issue,

,but a brief one glance check sheet/sticky might be helpful to new players?

Like:

- No connection? Check these settings! Do these things:
- No LR ? Check these settings! Do these things:
- Alternate channel. What it is for , how to change it.
- Expected range of SR/LR

Or something like that?

Good point, I'll write something and post it.

I feel your pain, I still freak out when there is some non-standard configuration occuring during a mission.

This is still there but unfinished. Would be great if ppl can add to it, I can't invest any time unfortunately: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Btqe_XHRJdI1K1ElsWimbd5dPdp4SDNkUzX8IG6se_4/edit?usp=sharing
