Nice AAR format Sithis ^^
Missing in action
(My role: Your friendly neighbourhood god)
Night was dark and full of..hrm.. flares? Darkness was a curse and a boon. You lost Sithis and leaders LR radio due darkness, but as you had untrained rabble without NVGs against you, they were as blind as you were. In couple of instances they almost sneaked up on you in cover of darkness. I added some flares to balance odds but still. Game changer this time was the BTR. Great work disabling it.
Crash site was one of furthest possible locations and even with LR it would have been at maximum range. Eventually CSAR team found you and due extensive casulties, picked all missing sheep at one lift. On way back Variable played hide and seek with Shilka, and quite possibly saved extraction helicopter from being shot down.

Red chainer, server issues. Phase Shift Warp + armed MRAP. Ugly. By the time I got back most people were dead.
Island Thunder 3&4
(AT in McG's team & MG in Mjolnirs team)
Great missions. Our plan to use boats to bypass the enemy (and likely the author's intention) failed, and we got a trek through the jungle. We played hide and seek with enemy patrols at the start and it was one heck of a experience. They must have passed us as 2-3m range at best. We laid still, silent, and enemy wasn't any wiser. McG kept cool, and we went undetected. Awesome.
At the compound we destroyed one armed technical, and encountered one sturdy trawler. Nice infantry action enroute to other outpost and mission win.
In next episode it was daylight for a change. Nice infantry mission and lots of action at AAA/Radar sites. We located crash site, and headed to extraction. Very moody patrol type mission. In both episodes I liked the variation/balance of silence, sneak, and action. Great job from leaders/team members.
Message in a bottle
(Rifleman in Variables team)
Great opener from Den. Nice briefing/clear tasks, and novel mission idea! Compact short fun. Nice infantry action. I liked that player really had to keep moving, and pushing from one building to another. In the end bugged trigger caused issues. Look forward to play again!
Two Birds
(Spotter. Unnameds aide de camp)
Grand tour. Briefing was bit of a stress test but this turned out to be a great mission. I didn't realize the thing about trucks/roadblock until I read debriefing ^^ Diverse tasks for different teams.
Our job was to reconnoiter/mark targets for eastern roadblock/compound. The recce part was great fun. Good communication/coop with the boss above my pay grade, aka Unnamed. We checked target distances, targeting priorities, locations of threats, well before action took place and when it was time to pull trigger it was just systematic going down the list.
Variables Alpha-team cleared the eastern compound under perfectly executed all around awesome, professional fuzzy fluffy sniper umbrella. We RV'd with infantry at compound, destroyed narcotics cache, and turned to improvised SA-16 SAM vehicle.
We got our sights on the frogfoot. Our mistake was to fire at same time. Unfortunately it wasn't all. RHS has currently bug with Iglas. They do not lock to targets. They get tone, but missile won't guide. This is acknowledged issue in RHS dev tracker, and it is marked to be fixed in next release. Result was two misses. Fortunately it didn't ruin the mission.
At airfield we took positions on southern ridge and were told to engage snipers/Iglas/helicopter pilots. We got clear targeting param's from Commander Sithis but now that I think, it would have been better to hit the helicopter pilots first. Sniper wouldn't go anywhere, Igla gunners would be stationary targets if they would attempt use the launcher, but helicopter taking off turned it to a different fight. Bolt action takes a bit to load and to regain sight picture and I missed running pilot. Fortunately our HMG/AA gunners scored several hits to helo, and I think Unnamed hit its engine with heavy sniper round as well.
In end I spotted targets/ranges for Unnamed and watched friendlies sweeping Harrier softened airbase clean. We almost got offroad tireprints on our asses as friendly truck narrowly missed us on our firing position. That's what you get for being camouflaged^^. GJ folks, great leading Sithis.
