Otherwise suppressive fire becomes effective fire and you die.I think we made a lot of tactical mistakes yesterday that were rather suicidal in hindsight (and yeah, I know, it's eays to say that after the fact). For example, storming down that slope towards a town we knew had something like 100 guns aimed in our direction was not good, especially since the enemy knew we were there and already creeping up the hillsides.
