i doubt they can do it like Iron Front did. IF did some nifty stuff in the latest patch. For example, you can shoot off the armor plates on the side of a StuG or Tiger II. And the penetration model is pretty accurate, it even  shows hatches blow open when an armor defeating hit explodes the ammunition store and things like that.

I'm looking forward to the new I44 patch, though. They do have more content than IF, although the IF one is better in general.  And the tank damage model in 2.64 looks quite nice if they can pull it off...
Biggest plus for I44 is the amount of content, they definitely have more than Iron Front although the latest DLC at least introduced the Americans (still missing Brits - Brits are always so neglected in WWII games).

The content in IF is generally of better to much better quality. The only good island for I44 IMO is McNools one. The islands, units and vehicles are much nicer in Iron Front.
What's up with Iron Front forums going down here and there. Have the developers dropped support? Will we be seeing a lite version of the DLC soon because DLC without the lite version can cause some community split issues...
Dunno, it happened before too.
I've got Panzer Baron's skype details, I'll try to ask him what's up next time I see him pop up.
Who's he?
He's one of the developers... I think Art Director.

Just asked him, and he said that he doesn't know why the forum is down. Probably technical difficulties... or maybe they didn't pay their invoices, but I'd rather not ask that directly :|

At least the company isn't closing down or anything like that... probably need to be patient and wait for the forum to reopen.

I really hope they'll come back... heck, I even started a mod for the game, would be a shame to let it go to waste...
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.ph...y-thoughts Read page 5 or 6. IFL is no longer supported and is now abandonware :/ its dead now. I can't bother making more missions for it now, that'll add more things to do, I rather just stick it to ARMA 2 & 3.

Sad story... I liked the game, also because of its authenticity. Good thing there is still I44, although I thought that IF had the much higher quality standards.
I have Iron Front and I'd like to play it MP, but I can't play Fridays and Saturdays. Other days are fine for me.
Thanks, Variable, will do so.

looks appealing, I'll pick my discs back for Iron Front in that case from my buddy if I can get a hold on where to download this Iron Front to Arma 3 engine thing. I'll still need to pick up the DLC.
Note that DRM protection allows only three installations of IF...
Blerghh... DRMs?!!! I just got turned off again ....:/
