Spoke too soon, crashed again.

So can you summarize shortly what you've tried? You swapped everything except for your HDD and casing right?
-flashed BIOS for GPU and MB

-different nvidia drivers, not installing 3d/hd audio/gf experience, only driver and Physx, doing clean installs with DDU, removing Intel drivers

-claimed warranty for GPU, got another one, same thing continued almost immediately after installing it (and no, they didn't give me the same one back, checked serial numbers)

-bought new (current) MB and CPU, previous were i5 3570K and Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD3

-Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Setting > Power Management Mode >"Prefer Maximum Performance", delayed the crash somewhat at times

-reduced resolution to 1600x900 (used native 1920x1080 otherwise) which strangely recovered for once instead of freezing and got this error in Event Viewer

Quote:The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \Device\Video7 12b2(1f5c) 00000000 00000000

-used PowerMizer Switch

-tried underclocking with Asus GPUTweak (came with the card), so far didn't make a difference or I didn't do it right, tried messing with voltage too

-monitored temps, they were always around 60-65C, max 73

-memory tests, admittedly only 1-2 passes, 4 max, but no errors returned

-two Win 7 reinstalls, one reformat

-installing the card in the other PCI-e slot

-installed the card in another computer where it ran fine for 2 hours, admittedly I should have kept it in longer
Threw the card against the ground a couple of times and then in the trash. Best experience I've had with it in months.
