Didn't notice the chanel you moved us to yesterday was permanent and when I was was able to tab out of EU-IV you were already gone. Thank you Variable  Smile
I aim to serve Wink
Since we got an official and fixed TS channel now (Thanks again) little shout out to everybody who owns a dcs module and didnt join us yet: As long as you can get any aircraft airborne ill be able to find a proper role for you in our missions.

Also for anybody who has been curious, but hasnt bought anything from DCS world: The SU-25 is free. So if you feel like giving it a try, we can give you a quick intro into the jet and get you airborne and mission ready ASAP.

Remember Saturday 1900UTC is Rock n Roll time.
Sorry guys, I was outside entire day and my phone was dead, so I couldn't tell you that I won't be able to attend. I thought that I would make it much earlier to my home. Next Saturday is a must!
Now that was a fun night of flying.

We started with Manuels extraction mission. I really enjoyed the music and the Navy component, however I think I should have waited with the extraction itself in order to get a bigger piece of the shooting action.

In the helicopter raid after that I managed to crash my Ka-50 all by myself, but before that it felt like Uh-1 and Ka-50 work quite well together. One for the heavy targets and one for the softr targets. If you guys enjoyed this setup I think I might construct a couple more of those missions.

River Raider sadly didnt work and we broke the ceiling regardless, but I bet it ll be interesting once it works.

I was a bit disapointed with my Hide and Seek mission. I guess I placed the AA to close together to really work with bearings from the RWR. I dont know about you guys but I found all my targets by randomly slewing the TGP.

We also finally managed to give Bactria a go. I really liked the style of the mission and it gives a great setting for actually using real life tactics. We didnt really do it this time, since I got hit and you guys had to do split ops, but maybe next time we get the opertunity. The only problem I had was that I thought the mission had way too much exposition. I dont think you get this much chatter on freq.
Great flying last night!

I think I will revise the extractio mission a bit. I think the setting was good and the use of ships is a nice change. But the timing doesn't work yet, the extraction helicopter arrives to early, it was gone before the Escort/CAS group was there.

The helicopter raid was great. I had one great/scary moment on my first attack run. The compound was presumed clear of armored threats, but just when I was passed it an APC popped up to my right behind a building. Sithis managed to take it out right away but it gave me a bit of a scare Big Grin

Sorry about river raider, I was a bit rushed to get it ready by Saturday and forgot to re-activate enemy units (had them removed to test triggers...)

Giving the targets more spacing would probably be good. Only at the end, with few targets left, I managed to use the RWR to get some bearing. Other than that I liked it Smile

Bactria was great. Some flaws though. The exposition as Sithis said feels a bit strange, delivered by JTAC...
Also we had to destroy a "high value target" described as a pickup truck under blue plastic cover or something like that. Thing is, there was no pickup there (I don't think there is one in the game at all) and color wont help when looking through the targeting pod. I ended up guessing...
But that's about it, other than that it was great. Had some very awesome and intense moments.

I really liked the missions, even though i got killed by a ring vortex twice  and once crashed into a mountain xD.  i think we should replay bactria siem time, if I understood the briefing correctly the missions shouldnt be the same for the same flight . and even if they are there where some more flights in that missions we have yet to try.
I love how the end of the video is the exposition thing Big Grin

The video is great, but sadly shows us at our most disorganiced point with one coming back from base, one having no applicable munition and one doing the runs. Maybe next time when playing Bactria we can give you some proper material with Coordination and shit Wink
I'm looking forward to the coordination n'shit Big Grin

But yeah, your early RTB and the following seperation of me and unnamed did cause us to kinda lose coherence in our flying...

On the other hand, for me at least those were the most intense moments of the mission, that makes good tv i'm told Wink

I think the provided loadout gives a good basis for finally attacking coodinated, we'll just have to make sure that we have at least two armed planes on station next time Smile
Argh! Seems like I'm grounded for the next Saturday with social obligations occupying my schedule. It could be the case for many forthcoming DCS coops as well, especially the need to eject early to get to the concert/party/bacchanalia, but I'll do my best to get the frequent flier badge Smile
Ill not make it this Saturday as well.
Autumn sale everybody!

Many airplanes are on sale right now, so use the chance!

After a week off it is finally time to take it to the air once more.

Saturday 1900 UTC (2000 CET/MEZ) is DCS time.
There will be helicopters and there will be A-10c´s.

Leave a reply if you feel like flying with the aircraft and how mission ready you are on them. Hopefully with the sale we will gain a few extra wingman to hurl at the AAA Wink

See you on the apron, second from the left, right next to that big ball of fire.
a10  packed to the top with kabooms
Do you want a little UH-1 with that? :p
