I have A10 and BS from Steam, but never got the time and patience to learn them. They seem rewarding, but the only high fidelity flight sim I learned to the level that I actually enjoyed playing was IL2 Sturmovik.
God, please, if I get in jail, please let them bring my PC.
Looks like a great sim. I finally gave up in frustration with old one that simulated the F-16. Just couldn't figure out how to play it.
Plus having played some of the other slightly more arcade ones (Il-6 Sturmovik and Battle of Britain) I feel like, to really play these games well, you need a 'cockpit' setup! Which would include a minimum:
A seat with a properly positioned joystick
Head orientation screen swing
Ideally I think you want surround screens and foot pedals too.
Many guys on SimHQ have such setups, but for me, a twistable joystick (for simulating pedals), decent resolution, decent framerate is enough. Well, and TrackIR, which I'm eagerly waiting to arrive
Watch this one. It's a bit long, but I laughed all the way
I saw this the other day and hurt myself laughing, I think it's the guy's voice as much as what he says (although the fact he specifies the 19 cents of the purchase price makes me giggle for some reason)
Huey is coming soon. However, they say it will not feature crew that can be played by humans simultaneously, they will add it later. Anyway, some nice flying hours ahead.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. I still can't do much more than fly my Black Shark and whenever I do any combat missions, I seem to get shot down by a tank or something without warning from miles away shortly after taking off, but for some strange reason I still enjoy starting up and flying the damn thing

That is some funny ass shit! I literally laughed until I cried!
. . . so familiar.
I figure one day when I'm retired and have zero stress in my life maybe I'll be so bored that spending 100 hours learning just the basics of operating a military aircraft will be fun. But for now my Flying Falcon and other flying sims collect dust.
This seems like a good opportunity to get all aircrafts and Combined arms!
